What does it do?

Move the upper back teeth backwards so the teeth fit together well.

When to wear it?

Elastics + aligner: 22 hours out of 24.

Remember

• Wear elastics and aligner day and night, except to eat and brush your teeth.
• Brush for 3 minutes after every meal, above and below the brackets.
• Clean the aligner at each brushing: brush and warm soapy water.

Avoid

• Chewing gum, caramel, hard or sticky sweets
• Croutons and baguette sandwiches
• Biting into hard foods: cut them into pieces
• Chewing pens or biting your nails
